What is Sacralin?
Sacralin is the brand name I’ve given to a family of innovative, 100% biodegradable alternatives to conventional plastics. The name reflects its natural origins: every formulation is derived from structural polysaccharides—the fundamental building blocks found in plants and seaweeds that give them strength and structure.

One of the key ingredients in many Sacralin formulations is sodium alginate, a structural polysaccharide extracted from seaweed. These naturally occurring materials allow us to design products that look, feel, and perform like plastic, but without the environmental cost.

100% Biodegradable in 30 Days
All Sacralin materials are engineered to fully biodegrade within just 30 days when placed in soil, compost, or even the ocean. Unlike conventional plastics that persist for centuries, Sacralin breaks down naturally, leaving nothing behind but nutrients that can safely re-enter the environment.

Safe and Certified by Nature
Sacralin is already approved for food contact and requires no additional certification for biodegradability. Because the raw materials themselves are already globally recognized as safe and biodegradable, Sacralin-based products are exempt from lengthy third-party certification processes.

A Sustainable Future, Today
Sacralin represents more than a product—it’s a platform for change. By replacing petroleum-based plastics with Sacralin, industries can dramatically reduce plastic waste and move toward a circular economy where materials safely return to nature.
